This topic is intended for ALL bugreports and/or feature requests related to 23Oz. themes.

    Thanks in advance.
    sda

All 23Oz. themes are under GPL license.

P.S. The latest releases are here:

    Download page: http://sda.scwlab.com/23Oz.html
    E17_release: 23Oz E17 Theme
    ETK_release: 23Oz ETK Theme
    E17_screenshot: http://sda.scwlab.com/

Difference between E17 23Oz released at www0.get-e.org and Latest:
hell of a lot :). updated to the new 0.16.999.050 format,

My deepest apologizes, but may be the modest SRV themes also could find an audience (licensed under CC-BY-SA-NC):

The pics at Get-E.org look really great, I was thinking about doing something similar myself.
    I think I'll just take your "silvery-blue", and transform it into a "goldish-red", coz that's my style . .
(Feel free to do that for me, I'd appreciate it)
But first of all, I'll have to make it work on my box . .
    ( I'm on FreeBSD 7, with E17 CVS, both build yesterday )
The preview of your themes graphics, in E17s theme dialog, only shows blanks.
Every time I select the theme, E throws me back to the standard theme, with a solid white background.
    I'm edje_decc'ing it right now, maybe I'll find something . .

    Hi!

    Please use the latest release.

    http://www.mediafire.com/?1mtn3hu10zs

A lot of improvements comparing to the one, released by get-e. Unfortunately the recent one now is available only through e17-stuff.org :(. I really need a responce, kind of bugtracking (HUGE THANKS to 'Toma-' and special THANKS - to 'Toksyuryel'). About 'preview' I may say that .edj and .edc files are listed in /etc/mime.types (I linked them with fixed icons) and:

    http://img379.imageshack.us/img379/4271/20080331111244up3.png

According to *BSD - I do check my themes on my OpenBSD. Let me know if you're interested to get the build script (it also works fine on FreeBSD). But it's heavily outdated in 'preliminary system check' functions, so I'm not encouraging anyone to use it :).

    Got it - works.
There's a slight issue with the shadow in the config menus.

Besides that, it looks really mean - it's creation must have taken you a few hours . . and then some.

it's a quite dirty hack of a scrollframes. I didn't wanted vertical scrollbar to be included into 'contents window'. just move/resize the box by lower right corner and it'll gone. it's not even always appears... the cure is to make like I did in ETK - just see 'emphasis', 'exhibit' or 'etk_prefs'.

glad you like it. any bugreports or feature requests are HIGHLY appreciated!

I added a kind of "prototype" of the next 23Oz. into the first message. It's containing latest changes and if someone could write here the requests to it - it would help me to develop it further. Always wanted to separate the scrollbars... Here's the result :).

You're doin great, I already stole some of your ideas.
    A goldish-red color scheme.is all I ask for.
I'd do it myself, but I'm working on a theme that resembles mahogany wood with brass.
Just the thing you'd want for your ships computer.
What gives me the willies right now, is an animation for maxi/-minimizing windows.
I'm a mean drawer, but a lousy progger

    Anyway,
If you insist on bug reports, here's another slight issue:
I'm using the cairo-clock, which needs some kind of composite manager.
With a composite manager enabled, your theme leaves trails after resizing windows.

    screenshot

    Just one question :
Why did you release your work under GPL ?
There are no binaries to distribute, and with edje_decc, anyone can see the source.
E17 calls for a BSD license, don't you think ?

I hate politics, but I think RMS and his FSF bunch don't do us any good.

Regarding to composite stuff - please ping Raster :). Use default theme, choose 'Shaped' border style and enjoy the same behavior. There's quite huge explanation indeed but the idea is inside connection between E17 engine and working composite manager (imho).

Regarding to GPL - I'm not a kind of person who deeply aware of all license pro's and contra's. But I do respect the law and work of others. Please see 'Menu -> Enlightenment -> Theme' window. Nathan Baxter released under BSD - HUGE THANKS! But 'mentalrey' released his 'Dark-Glass' icons under GPL and nobody wanted to help me out with the custom iconset. Just picked 'Dark-Glass' and settled with 'mentalrey' the way of 'acknowledgment'. It's quite clear (IMHO) that inclusion of GPL-ed parts should lead to GPL-ed project.

Just released the next 'proto' (more attention to the unfocused parts of a window - http://www.mediafire.com/?wdyd0zpfahj).

I've downloaded this theme (various versions of it, actually) and just can't seem to get it to work. I've tried the most recent version, the version before that, and the development one. I've tried placing the .edj file into the theme folder and I've tried importing it, all to no avail. When I try to import it a dialog pops up informing me that it isn't a theme. When navigating through the Configuration menu, there is no preview of the theme, either. If selected in the menu, my theme returns to the default.

I know next to nothing about how the themes work so I, unfortunately, can't provide you with any details beyond that.

The version of Enlightenment that I'm using is 0.16.999.041 (installed by OpenGEU).

Your Version of E is outdated.
The theme only works with the current development version.
Build from CVS, or at least try to get a package of 16.999.042
